Shaping Middle Grades Mathematics: Activities for Geoboard and the TI-73

They may be woven into the curriculum as an independent geometry investigation or as a reinforcement or enrichment lesson of a concept previously taught. The approach used in developing the content is contructivist and inductive; students are asked to make sense of what they are doing and are given a variety of tools and methods in which to solve problems. The focus is on understanding and application, not formulas.
